At Encore Healthcare and Rehabilitation at Malvern, we believe that a little rain should never wash away a good time, and our recent fishing day proved just that.
Despite the cloudy skies and a few raindrops, our residents were determined to enjoy the great outdoors. While the weather tried to send us packing, two brave and spirited residents stood their ground, casting lines with smiles and laughter. Their perseverance paid off; we reeled in a total of eight fish.
But the fun didn’t stop at the water’s edge. After our successful fishing adventure, we celebrated with a round of bingo store shopping, where residents picked out some well-earned goodies. It was the perfect way to cap off a day of fresh air, teamwork, and a little friendly competition.
We were also thrilled to have special visitors join us for the day, lending a hand (and a fishing rod!) to help us catch and reel in the fish. Their support made the day even more memorable for everyone involved.
At Encore Malvern, moments like these remind us that joy can be found rain or shine, and that community, courage, and a little bit of bait go a long way.
